The Economist magazine online
Dollars and Sense - A bimonthly magazine that explains the workings of the U.S. and international economies and provides left/liberal/progressive perspectives on current economic affairs. Issues in the archives offer selected articles online, but more recently all the articles are available.
Forbes Magazine: The self-described "capitalist tool," this investment-oriented magazine offers a window into the lives of the very rich, particularly in its annual feature on top wealth-holders.
Fortune Magazine, home of the annual Fortune 500, a compendium of information about the biggest corporations in the United States.
Systematic analysis of business trends. Some material here is available to subscribers only, but much of the content of the archives is freely accessible.
United for a Fair Economy provides a leftist/progressive perspective on the national and international economy, as well as workshops on economic literacy, international economics, and urban economic issues.
A comprehensive analysis of the way economic trends affect working Americans. You can't download EPI's very useful State of Working America here, but there is a wealth of other good stuff to be explored, including "Issue Briefs" and op-ed pieces by EPI authors.
